The position is Mon. - Fri. in the office, this is not a remote position. This position is responsible for Rural Health Clinic payment posting and charge posting. Summary: Billing Coordinator II is responsible for assisting patients, insurance representatives and other clinic staff with billing questions. This position must possess a strong understanding of the billing process, demonstrate the ability to make accurate decisions, and simultaneously handle a variety of tasks. This position reports directly to the Billing Office Manager. Candidate must have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and possess problem-solving skills.
Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience within a healthcare business office. Experience with Allscripts PM and Rural Health Billing knowledge helpful.
