Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine interest in fostering the development of young children.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Incorporate literacy education and childhood development principles into daily activities
- Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a productive learning atmosphere
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with young students in a childcare setting
- Strong understanding of childhood development stages and educational best practices
- Proficiency in curriculum development tailored to early learners
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Experience in working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus
