Chef Manager:
We are currently seeking a candidate with previous kitchen management experience to join our team as the Chef Manager at the Wiggins Place building. The Chef Manager will display strong management skills and will keep the kitchen operations and staff organized by implementing, monitoring and documenting the high-quality dietary program for residents at Wiggins Place. The Chef Manager supervises staff and prepares meals in accordance with Menorah Park standards for quality and current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. This position is 2nd in command in the kitchen and will act as the top dietary decision maker in the General Manager's absence.
Essential Qualifications:::

• Must be able to provide leadership for department and subordinate staff.

• Must have at least 3 years of kitchen management experience.

• Ability to lead, train, and supervise staff.

• Strong organizational skills required.

• Must be able communicate clearly including good written communication skills.

• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities and be familiar with seasonings required and time involved.

• Must have knowledge of cooking characteristics of various cuts of meat and must know names and contents of various types of dishes.

• Must be able to make accurate estimates relative to quantities of food required.

Salary: :starting at $55,000 based on experience
