Job DescriptionThe Cypress Center is a 16-bed licensed Acute Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility and non-hospital Designated Receiving Facility that services individuals aged 18 and over in need of intensive 24-hour psychiatric supervision and support. The Nurse Coordinator will work in liaison with the Division Director to provide direct supervision of the nursing staff. The coordinator will work closely with the unit nurse practitioner and med staff on Orderconnect EMAR and med reconciliation, training all new nurses on EMR and all aspects of the nursing role at Cypress Center. RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: We are looking for someone who is organized, compassionate, mindful, and solution-focused. Someone who isn’t afraid to jump in, but who also can gently direct others in a way that helps them to grow and learn from challenging experiences. Candidate must be able to respond swiftly and direct others in all unit crises. Must be committed to ensuring that all staff follow Covid protocols. Knowledge of NH state rules and regulations for inpatient levels of care is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience: Prior experience in supervising nursing staff and inpatient experience is preferred. Qualifications: Registered Nurse, Certified (RNC) or Registered Nurse (RN) eligible for certification.
