DescriptionDelta Screens and Filtration LLC is a privately owned company located in Houston, Texas. The company was founded in January of 2009 and is one of the largest independently owned screen manufacturers and suppliers in the world.
Manufacturing operations are conducted at a ~79,000 square foot facility situated on 26 acres located in the Northwest Houston Energy Corridor. Delta possesses the capacity to produce 1,200’-1,500’ linear feet of screen daily, depending on the product mix.
We are looking for a Sand Control and Water Well Screen Design Engineer capable of thriving in our fast-paced Houston facility.

We are looking for a Sand Control and Water Well Screen Design Engineer capable of thriving in our fast-paced Houston facility.
Responsibilities Include
- Supporting day to day activities by customizing existing screens designs to meet the customers requirements.
- Creating or modifying engineering drawings for specific designs.
- Creating bill of materials.
- Developing and testing new products.
- Interacting with all other disciplines and departments including production, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or similar.
- 10 years oilfield experience preferred.
- 5 years in sand screen engineering and design preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of oil and gas downhole sand screens, including wire wrapped, direct-wire wrapped, mesh, and prepacked screens is preferred.
- Proficient Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Proficient in CAD software, and willingness to utilize Autodesk Inventor.
