Must have Pricing Experience in a Freight Brokerage Environment

Salary commiserate with experience 45-70k

Advanced Level of Excel Skills: pivot tables, complex formula creation, VLOOKUPS, etc.

The Pricing Analyst is a mid-level position in freight brokerage and should be able to manage pricing flatbed, dry van, reefer, drayage and OD lanes. The day-to-day responsibilities are:

• Provide spot pricing to Logistics Specialists at their request.
• Price small and large bids, getting contracted rates from carriers to service those shipments.
• Be familiar with pricing trends to the team on a weekly basis.
• Measure win/loss ratio of RFPs and spot bids.
• Interface and service all pricing needs of all team members.
• Solve Problems.
• Other duties as needed.

Position Qualifications

The applicant must:

• Have experience in pricing truckload freight using DAT Rate Index, Truckstop.com RateMate, etc.
• Be organized, very detail-oriented, and a multitasker.
• Effectively create and manipulate documents utilizing the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Advanced level expertise in Excel, including but not limited to, pivot tables, complex formula creation, VLOOKUPS, etc.
• BI tools preferred (PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, etc.)
• Exhibit good phone skills for contact with customers, carriers, and team members.
• Have strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead projects and proposals from start to finish.
• Bachelor's degree or above required, but equivalent background and experience might be considered.
• 5 years of logistics experience.
