Job Overview:
The B2B/B2D Charging Market Manager is responsible for the initial market contact and introduction of our product portfolio through to the commissioning of our products. The B2B/B2D Charging Market Manager focuses on the market-specific adaptation of B2B/B2D charging solutions for cars and vans, which are developed in their basic function in the MB Charging Unit and MB Mobility. This includes the consideration of legal aspects for the targeted compilation of charging product bundles to best serve local market conditions. A key function is to prepare and carry out the product roll-outs and their implementation. In doing so, it is important to consider the appropriate retail training courses to ensure that the products can be offered to customers in the best possible way. This includes negotiating the final commitment for the roll-out project, timeline and local resources, onboarding vendors into the roll-out project, process and market analysis, market demand management, project and related stakeholder management, tracking revenue targets, and overseeing the contractual, legal, and data compliance setup.
Responsibilities:
  • Market Manager: Bundle and promote tailor-made B2B/B2D charging solutions as well as suitable, market-specific products based on defined goals. Create market-specific pricing, financing and incentive models including dealer incentives. Independent coordination of local partner management, including regular coordination with all relevant stakeholders. Continuous analysis of the market including competitor monitoring. Develop product rollout strategies in cooperation with the appropriate partners and the Charging Unit (HQ) Monitoring of MBAG's current BEV rollout plans in order to put together charging products for the market launch, taking into account the respective vehicle models and their B2B/B2D target group. Management and implementation of market targets to achieve set sales targets. Contract management including negotiation and quality assurance in close coordination with the Charging Unit (HQ). Promote and sustain a close working relationship with MB PC & Van teams. (50%)
  • Operational Activities: Responsible for ensuring that billing models are set up with partners and contractually secured – in conjunction with required F&C parties. Monitoring of legal adjustments, consideration of subsidies, and other issues that have an impact on the products. Continuous monitoring of how the MBAG B2B/B2D charging products are received in/by the market (sales) and how and by which customers they are used. Based on these insights, the products need to be continuously adapted. Creating product bundles to meet market-specific individual customer needs. Continuous development of policies, methods, processes, and systems in area of responsibility. Ensuring transparency, communication and quality assurance of all relevant processes in area of responsibility. Development of concepts and ensuring their implementation. Proactive delivery of information and preparation of regular reports to the respective stakeholders as well as other committee documents. Coordination of all inquiries related to area of responsibility. Continuously review and improve the user experience of our B2B/B2D charging solutions, in cooperation with the MBAG dealers and product development via the Charging Unit. Ensure retailers have been properly trained on the respective products prior to market launches, in close coordination with the Charging Unit in the context of retail enablement. Support/advise dealers on promotional campaigns to target sales of charging solutions Serve as contact person for all Mercedes-Benz B2B/B2D charging solutions available on the market (for the market as well as the dealers). Support Sales to help promote products and services, increase penetration, and assist in acquiring new customers. (35%)
  • Collaborate effectively with all MB divisions. Provide great customer service. Focus on achieving KPI’s and all additional deliverables. (15%)
Qualifikationen
Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:
  • Customer Service - 2 years of experience
  • Marketing - 1 year of experience
  • Sales - 1 year of experience
  • Strategy - 1 year of experience
Education:
Associate's Degree is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:
  • Business Administration
  • Marketing
Additional Knowledge:
  • One year of experience/knowledge in the following areas:
    • Mercedes-Benz (HPC) High Powered Charging knowledge
    • Professional experience in the B2C/B2B & B2D electric charging environment
    • Professional experience in the banking/automotive environment
    • Experience in the US automotive market and explicit knowledge of Mercedes-Benz dealer structures (MBD)
    • Strong knowledge of the MBD structure, the stakeholders in MBM, MBUSA Vans & PC
    • Experience in consulting and project management; Automotive Products - Leasing/Purchase Contracts
