Job Details:
Intern will be working within the Sales & Marketing team. They will support colleagues in the development of sales and marketing programs, which will ultimately be published to internal and external audiences. This includes but is not limited to PowerPoint presentations, writing, proofreading and key message production. The balance of tasks will depend on the skills of the intern, so interns are encouraged to be open what skills they are most confident in and their interests related to content production.
The intern will also attend team/department meetings and participate in meetings with other internal colleagues all in support of the program development process. The working style will be 100% in office to ensure effective onboarding and learning.
Education:
We are looking for undergraduate students with a strong desire to learn and improve on their skills.
Students studying Sales/Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and other majors with content creation or other customer-facing business development experience are also encouraged to apply.

Major Projects:
  • Support the development of monthly sales and marketing programs
  • Drafting program notices for distribution for Internal and external publication
  • Ad-hoc data presentations and analyses to support program development
List of Activities:
The internship would start with job shadowing and team meetings. As the intern progresses, individually targeted and self-organized meetings will occur. They will meet with the Department Supervisor regularly to understand the project and work assignments. The intern will join weekly team meetings, have a periodic touchpoint with the team, and have weekly one-on-one coaching sessions with their supervisor. Typical work assignments would include the following:
  • Manage daily work tasks and assigned projects; practice time-management skills and managing deadlines.
  • Work side by side with staff members to learn how to craft presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Produce and present presentations using PowerPoint for internal and external publication
  • Prepare program notices for distribution for Internal and external publication using Microsoft Word
  • Prepare business analyses using Microsoft Excel and learn how to incorporate data, charts, and graphics into presentations and program notices
  • Prepare and send business updates via email to members of staff and departmental leadership
Mentorship:
The Manager will act as the mentor supervisor for the Intern. The student will be involved in team meetings as well as 1:1 meetings.
Qualifikationen
Ideal candidate will have prior working experiences that highlight abilities to manage assigned work tasks and to manage timelines/deadlines. Candidate should have work, classroom, or extracurricular club experience working in teams and/or leading small groups. Candidate should also have work experience or classroom project experience preparing communications, data analyses, and presentations using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Please note: this is a part-time internship that will work up to 90 calendar days in our Atlanta, GA office. The candidate must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program. The internship will run from August 2024 until December 2024. The start date and end date are flexible based on the candidate's availability.
Candidates must be able to work 100% on-site.
