Overtime Pay! All hours worked over 35 hours a week will be reimbursed with $15hr
There are three tiers of Employment:
Tier 1: Employees who work 30 hours a week are considered full-time salaried employees. They earn $36k year salary. These employees receive Health Insurance, ten days of vacation, five personal days, and 2 sick days.
Tier 2: 30 hours a week. These employees will receive ten vacation days.
Tier 3: Under 29 hours per week. 2 sick days.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Behavior Assistant to join our team at Mercedes and Family LLC in Garfield, NJ. As a Behavior Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior support plans and interventions.
• Provide direct support to individuals in various settings such as home, school, and community
• Collect and record data on individual's behavior and progress
• Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other professionals
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation

Requirements:

• One year of experience working with youth with emotional challenges
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is a plus
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
