Mercy Housing Management Group is Hiring a Maintenance Technician - Star View Court Near San Francisco, CA

The successful Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our properties. Responsibilities include conducting preventative maintenance, addressing minor repairs, and facilitating apartment turnovers to maintain high standards. As a member of the maintenance team, you'll be instrumental in upholding cleanliness, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a hazard-free environment for our residents.

Additionally, our location offers convenient access to public transit, Bus #25 stops right in front of the property. To support our team members' commuting needs, Mercy Housing provides a $30.00 subsidy toward commuter fees. This demonstrates our commitment to promoting sustainable transportation options and making it easier for our employees to access our facilities. Star View Court is a new, affordable property located on Treasure Island near San Francisco, CA.

Pay: $25.00/hour DOE

Duties:

  • Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete.
  • Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
  • Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Take direction from the supervisor.
  • Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
  • Flexible to change work plans.
  • Maintain a professional personal appearance.
  • Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).
