Mercy University is Hiring a Data Analyst Near Dobbs Ferry, NY

JOB
This position will analyze and report on data relating to enrollment, marketing, communications, and CRM usage. They will build, update, and deliver reports and dashboards to convey information internally and to the university at large. This position will also assist with some aspects of administering the CRM (Slate). Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: Performing research and analysis, and creating reports on trends in admissions, marketing, and various other college data to support recruitment and enrollment effortsWorking on models for projecting applicant and enrollment data using statistical techniquesCreating and maintaining reports regarding communication and usage in our CRM - Researching and responding to various ad-hoc requests from internal departments and committees, as well as university leadershipCreating data visualizations to illustrate patterns and trends with various university dataCompiling information from both internal and external data sources to determine factors affecting enrollmentAssisting with data import and management processes in the CRM
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Required Skills & Experience: Experience with reporting on CRM data, preferably Technolutions SlateExperience with Ellucian Banner or other Student Information SystemStrong skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of SQL and understanding of relational database conceptsExperience creating visualizations in software such as TableauSome programming experience with statistical tools like Python or R preferredExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environmentAbility to travel to all campuses Physical/Other Requirements: Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies. Compensation offered will be commensurate with the educational background and work experience of the individual. Mercy University promotes a community campus environment. As a result, employment is limited to the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Applicants outside of those states or the USA will be required to relocate. Relocation assistance may be provided for eligible moves.
