Who We AreMercy Behavioral Health Services provides a structured and therapeutic environment to individuals suffering from psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and chemical dependency. Here at Mercy our dedicated multi-disciplinary team promotes a structured therapeutic program to help those in crisis through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy and relapse prevention.
OverviewAssists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manger. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
QualificationsLicensure: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri.
Experience: Two or three years experience required in patient care.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
Preferred Education: BS degree in nursing management or healthcare business-related field preferred.
Preferred Experience: Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
