Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in southcentral Wisconsin and northern Illinois, is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department in beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing high quality personalized care to a variety of patients.

Opportunity:

• Collaborate with experienced Emergency Medicine physicians and have the full support of an excellent team of RNs and support staff.
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week. Great for work/life balance!
• 9 FTE; Full-time benefits
• Rotate holiday and weekend coverage with other APPs.
• Mix of ED and Urgent Care patients

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
• Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
• A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action.
• Ability to pass the Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check

Certifications/Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited PA program
• Current WI PA License
• Current DEA number
• ATLS certification
• Other certifications as required.
