Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques. Administers x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. May be asked to flex hours and overtime as necessary to provide quality patient care at assigned sites(s).Works as part of a multidisciplinary team, serving on committees and participating in projects as requested.
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Certification/Licensure:ARRT Radiography registration required
IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire

The employee must frequently lift and/or move patients using appropriate patient transfer equipment; gait belts, Hoyer lift, hovermat, slider boards, etc. Moving (pushing, pulling) patients in wheelchairs and patient carts. Equipment- moving (pushing and pulling) portable imaging equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
