This position is currently open only for Mondays and Fridays, both of which are mandatory for employees.

Duties:
- Safely operate a mobility van to transport clients to and from their homes and our center and to various appointments and monthly activities
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival and departure
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those with mobility challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, such as checking fuel levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, providing assistance and answering questions as needed

- Interact with clients during the day program between the hours of driving, including helping with activities, playing games, or otherwise assisting where necessary.

Requirements:

- Driver must be at least 25 years of age
- Valid Colorado state driver's license of two years with at least five years of previous driving experience
- Driver must have no history of license suspension or revocation within the past five years.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to assigned routes and schedules
- Drivers will be required to pass a DOT Medical Examination which includes a drug test, as well as a driver record check and criminal background check.
