- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred)
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of New York
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and support a minimum of 80 pounds
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing and walking
- COVID-19 Vaccination**
- Negative TB test results
- Annual physical examination
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and observations to ensure optimum health levels.
- Administer and record medications per facility policy and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to improve patient outcomes.
- Deliver care that meets the unique needs of patients, considering their faith and cultural backgrounds.
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills in all patient care situations.
- Accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Meridian Nurse adheres to CMS and local Department of Health guidelines regarding COVID-19 vaccinations. All healthcare professionals must be up to date on all recommended COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster doses when required. Non-vaccinated professionals may be subject to weekly testing and mask mandates at client facilities. Vaccinated workers may still undergo regular COVID-19 symptom screenings, including temperature and symptom checks.
