Signature Gathering Candidates Needed!

This spring Meridian Strategies will be working for Democratic Candidates to gather signatures to get them on the ballot!

We are looking for experienced canvassers who are outgoing, personable, and eager to knock doors and street canvass in order to collect signatures.

There will be a paid training session on the day of the first shift. Field shifts will start February 27th and then run everyday up to 7 days a week until March 31st. Canvassers are required to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week. The last day of work is subject to change. Shifts will be 4 hours from 4PM - 8PM. Pay will be $30/hour for petitioning shifts.

Requirements:

• Comfortable talking to strangers and knocking on doors
• Proficient in data entry
• Bilingual preferred
• Meet signature quotas

Qualifications:

• Personable, outgoing, can easily talk to strangers
• Can take and follow instructions quickly
• Legible handwriting
• YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED DEMOCRATIC VOTER IN NEW YORK STATE TO GATHER SIGNATURES

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 28 per week
