The First Assist Surgical Technician collaborates with the surgeon and RN to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The First Assist Surgical Technician must have acquired the necessary knowledge, judgment, and skills specific to the expanded role of First Assist Surgical Technician. Must follow aseptic technique procedures and be able to provide equipment and supplies based on patient and surgeon needs. The First Assist Surgical Technician practices under the surgeon's direction during surgery.
Requirement:

• Graduate of a Surgical Technician program.
