The Instructional Design and Training Specialist provides overall coordination of the Meritus Learning Management System (LMS). Duties include collaborating with Training and Organization Development, Team Member Services and other departments to identify, develop and deliver eLearning solutions, coordinating LMS activities with other LMS administrators, and delivering and evaluating live training classes.
Education - Bachelor's degree in Curriculum Design, education, instructional design or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
Experience - Three years prior experience designing and delivering training to adult learners; and experience working in a learning management system. Experience in Excel, HealthStream, Epic and Articulate preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Able to apply adult learning principles in education design, presentation, teaching and evaluation methods. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications and strong presentation/facilitation skills are required. Preferred experience with course authoring tools. An ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented team player.
