Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of logic controllers is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments
- Leadership skills to guide and train junior technicians
