Job Summary:
Job Summary:
- The Director of Nutrition Services and Security will plan, organize and direct the operations of the Nutritional Services & Security Departments in accordance with policies and procedures, standards and practices set by Mesa View Regional Hospital and governmental agencies.
- The Director will ensure that all applicable guidelines are followed in providing quality nutritional services on a daily basis.
- The Director will be responsible for: the supervision of staff, accurate inventory, accurate maintenance of records, inspection of related equipment, timely and accurate services to patients and other hospital departments/staff, understanding of sanitation and food safety procedures, and will help in reducing costs by reducing waste practices and cost control measures.
- The Director of Nutrition Services and Security will also assist in all of the daily functions, activity, and schedule of the Security Department and it's employees.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma Required.
- Formal training in culinary arts and dietary management.
- Two (2) years of supervisory and/or management experience.
- Security Experience preferred.
- Food Handler's and ServSafe Food Manager required.
- CPI required within 3 months.
