Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tooling Program Manager to oversee the tooling department and ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and experience in tooling processes.

Duties:

• Manage tooling projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and analyze tooling needs.
• Utilize project management software to track progress and communicate updates effectively.
• Implement best practices in tooling design, development, and maintenance.
• Coordinate dry-run checklists and provide feedback to applications on assembly issues.
• Schedule and conduct Automation build buyoffs, hard tool checks with die suppliers and provide hard tool reports to the die suppliers and customer.
• Responsible for plant visits.
• Responding to customer concerns, identifying the issues and troubleshooting resolutions.
• Interface with mechanical design, customer service departments, and Upper Management regarding all phases of build.
• Assist shop floor with assembly builds when required.

Experience and required competency:

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in tooling or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in NX / Catia.
• Knowledge of program management principles and methodologies.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, analysis, and implementation.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong mechanical design aptitude and capability.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy.
• Must have the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Valid Driver's License and Passport.
• Ability to travel within the US and International.
