MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT : 21 years old
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION : State of Nevada Gaming Permit, Valid Driver License and D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old).
JOB SUMMARY :
Responsible for overseeing and directing the overall Sales operations, including sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsible for creating sales campaigns focused on communicating the Company's properties and amenities and nurturing relationships with customers, and driving repeat sales business.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum 2 years experience as a Director of Sales is required. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Quality control, customer relations and ability to follow procedures required. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Knowledge of computer applications including Excel, Word, Power Point and Microsoft Access. College degree in Hospitality or Hotel Administration a plus. High school diploma required. This person must be punctual and able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel out of town are necessary for this position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

1. Directs the development of the annual sales goals, ensures they are understood by staff and implemented.

1. Hire, train, lead, develop, motivate, evaluate, coach, and discipline team members.

1. Develops and implements packages plans, special sales activities, public relations activities and materials, with executive management approval.

1. Designs and proposes programs to meet clients' needs. Negotiates with clients to achieve profit while always satisfying the clients' needs.

1. Assist in the development of a long range plan and strategy for the Sales Department with executive management.

1. Enhances the Company's community image and its knowledge of the competition, new developments, sales methods, and techniques in the hospitality industry to maximize profit.

1. Participates in problem solving with other departments, as required, relating to business booked in the hotel, golf courses, and/or meeting rooms.

1. Establish annual budgets for the Sales operations.

1. Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking on uneven surfaces, and the lifting of moderately heavy objects. The work may require above average strength, agility or dexterity.
WORK CONDITIONS :
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts, or machines. This is a 7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
