Mesquite Gaming Employment Center is Hiring a HR EMPLOYEE & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER - CB & VR - FULL-TIME - VARIED SHIFT Near Mesquite, NV

STARTING RATE: D.O.E. MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 years old LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Gaming Permit, Valid Driver License, and D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old). JOB SUMMARY: The Employee and Community Engagement Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing employee and community engagement events, initiatives, and programs aligned with the Company’s Corporate culture, mission, and social responsibility. This role will serve as a liaison between the Company and the community, promoting our corporate values. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 2 years working experience in Employee and/or Community Engagement Management. Must have the ability, confidence, presence to represent the Company across various audiences. Must have excellent creative, communication (verbal and non-verbal), and organizational skills. Must be a self-starter with innovative experience in event management, with the ability to drive results and balance multiple deliverables at one time. Strong program operations experience, including creating processes, and systems, and tracking metrics. Must be able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have the ability to work early mornings, late afternoons/evenings, and weekends for events. Must be able to travel between all Company properties. The ability to communicate in writing and verbally in Spanish a plus. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Independently create meeting materials, decks, presentations, and communications to support the team in conveying the impact and progress of the employee and community engagement programs to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external communications teams to ensure consistent storytelling of the Company’s employee and community engagement efforts. Coordinate and oversee company-wide employee volunteer and community service programs and events with employee and community impact groups. Manage nonprofit organizations' selection and partnership process, ensuring alignment with corporate social responsibility pillars and market priorities. Moderate discussions and content between Company and community. Respond to community inquiries and feedback. Conducting community needs assessments to determine areas of need in the community. Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management. CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS:Continuously operate all employee and community engagement programs and events with an inviting atmosphere for all team members and members of the community. Lead by example. Project a professional image when interacting with team members and members of the community. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The work requires some physical exertion such as: standing, walking, and sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, carrying, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment may involve everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions while taking care not to trip or fall. Temperature fluctuations when the doors are open. Moderate to loud noises from equipment in the work area. This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
