POSITION SUMMARY

This full-time hourly position will be responsible for the line and dinner service and assisting with prep for restaurant menus and catering menus. Prep lists and recipes will be used.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Assist in preparing meal ingredients, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing fruits and vegetables as well as marinating meats.
  • Preparing soups, salads, and sauces as instructed by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
  • Ensure that all cooking stations and kitchen surfaces are cleaned and disinfected before and after each shift.
  • Maintain a low amount of waste through proper recipe adherence and food rotation
  • Plate and garnish meal items in accordance with the instructions provided by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
  • Perform other duties as required including assisting other departments as needed

  • 1 year of relevant restaurant experience
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe
  • Must have active TABC and Food Handler certifications at all times
