POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the winery, restaurant, and grounds. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for conducting a variety of general maintenance duties around the property.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Maintenance of entire Messina Hof Harvest Green property
• Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with day to day maintenance of entire company grounds including: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and painting
• Conduct general maintenance repairs to company equipment, machinery, fixtures, appliances, building, landscaping, and furniture
• Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of site fountain
• Regular evaluation of company grounds, landscaping, walkways, irrigation and reporting any necessary repairs or improvements
• HVAC duties as assigned
• Assist management on ordering stock of backup materials, replacement parts, and equipment needed to facilitate seamless company operations
• Assist with vineyard maintenance as needed and aid in the harvest process
• Responsible for controlling tools to prevent tool loss
• Ensure proper safety procedures are being followed and enforced
• Perform other duties as required including assisting other departments as needed

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Competency Statement(s)

• 1 – 2 years related experience in facilities maintenance or similar role
• Ability to operate basic power equipment and all necessary tools
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• HVAC certification preferred
