Our team is partnering with a boutique hospitality group that is looking to hire a Banquet Manager for their JFK (Queens, New York) location.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of lounge/banquet operations ensuring excellent service is provided to guests/clients
- Manage staff including hiring, training, scheduling and managing performance/compliance issues
- Create and implement new programs and associated procedures
- Manage advertising and other promotional activities
- Assist in conducting weekly meetings (review, strategy, management, etc.)
- Monthly reporting to Director and Management
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of management experience (Supervisor, Captain or Manager)
- Experience from traditional banquet facility world
- Experience with POS, CRM and systems (Aloha, Paylocity, Google Workspace, etc.)
- TIPS and NYS sanitation certificates required
