Job Details
~ Mechanical Project Engineer (PE) ~
You will play a pivotal role in our multidisciplinary design projects, collaborating closely with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities:
~ Design mechanical systems for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and sustainable energy systems
~ Ensure all mechanical designs adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards, demonstrating a thorough understanding of local, state, and national code
~ Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines throughout the design and construction process to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
Qualifications:
~ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
~ Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
~ 5 years of experience in mechanical design for building projects, preferably within an architecture firm or consulting engineering environment.
~ Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design software (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE).
