Metabolic Meals manufactures clean-label meals and food products. We distribute our brands direct to consumer and have private label programs for various national retailers.
As a highly skilled maintenance technician, you will help our teams drive efficiency and reliability across production lines by maintaining machines that allow both semi and fully automated processes for food production and distribution. You will also be part of a team that continues to evolve our state of the art facility to accommodate rapid growth within the online food delivery industry.
Responsibilities
-Perform planned maintenance and unplanned repairs of production line assets that include Tray Sealers, Volumetric Fillers, Conveyers, Labelers, Food Processing Equipment, and High Speed Order Fulfillment Systems
-Read and utilize schematics to troubleshoot systems down to the component level
-Utilize diagnostic tools to monitor equipment performance
-Lead or Assist 3rd party equipment installations
-Communicate with suppliers, specify requirements, get bids and quotes, and submit requisitions
-Perform other related duties as assigned to improve manufacturing efficiencies and safety.
Basic Qualifications
-High School diploma
-Technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
-5 years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing and production environment
Preferred Skills and Experience
-Maintenance Experience with food processing equipment
-Excellent manual dexterity in order to repair and perform preventative maintenance
-Ability to use power tools and hand tools as well as heavy equipment
-Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics and drawings.
-Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies, quality policies and food safety standards.
-Detail oriented, organized, and able to demonstrate a high sense of urgency.
-Effectively communicate with leadership and department managers
Additional Requirements
Must be willing to work a full shift 9am-5pm Mon-Fri
Position requires physical effort including standing, lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $39-$50/hr
