Quality Engineer
New Albany, OH (on-site presence required 2-3 days per week, with remote work available for the remainder)
Extendable Contract position

Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and inspecting finished products or components to ensure compliance with established specifications. You will collaborate closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to address non-compliance issues and take appropriate corrective actions. Your responsibilities include preparing and maintaining detailed reports and analyses, supporting risk assessments for new projects, and assisting in the scale-up and implementation of new or reformulated products. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting the QA Lab with first production submissions and communicating quality expectations to suppliers.

Responsibilities: QA Program Execution (50%)

• Assist in risk assessments and contingency planning for new projects.
• Support scale-up production and implementation of new/reformulated products.
• Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate test data for compliance.
• Support QA Lab with first production submissions.

Quality Control Issue Management (50%)

• Provide root cause analysis to vendors and partners.
• Collect and record data using measuring tools.
• Evaluate data trends for corrective actions.
• Perform QC evaluations and product inspections.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent job experience.
• Previous experience in quality assurance is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of quality planning, project management, quality control, statistical techniques, and GMP.
• Organized, with problem-solving skills and ability to handle multifaceted projects.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
