Responsibilities:

The Epic systems manager is responsible for working with clinical subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, build, validate, test, optimize, and support the Epic system based on best practice methods. The Epic systems manager is responsible for managing the Epic Certified Application analysts.

Required skills:

• Epic Certification(s) - Currently active
• Hands on experience in Epic implementations or experience with implementing and supporting large integrated systems in a healthcare organization
• Supervisory experience required.
• Relevant experience (healthcare or IT) required.

Preferred Certifications :

ITIL, Project Management , EPIC , HL7

• Strong leadership managerial skills; ability to plan, delegate, monitor and improve work performance
• Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times
• Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Creativity, problem analysis and decision making
• Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and maintains confidentiality
• Standard office equipment and computer applications; MS Office, EMR, internet applications etc.
