Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Director of Business Development for South Texas Radiology Center creates business development, growth, marketing and public relations strategies for the company as it contemplates adding, growing or enhancing existing programs/services. This position will assess and develop business plans, marketing plans, marketing collateral, public relations tactics for new and existing programs/services. Works with the STRIC Executive Team and key leaders to identify growth opportunities and facilitates positive and cooperative business interaction with key stakeholders in the target market. What you will do in this role:
  • Researches and assesses market for opportunities to expand existing programs/services or add new ones.
  • Designs focused, effective plans that support and enhance the STRIC brand and all imaging products and service line areas, and directs a well-organized approach for all business development activities.
  • Responsible for leading business development activities, including the implementation within the imaging centers, and support services areas. Works collaboratively with leadership to execute development activities internally and externally.
  • Manages the development of business development strategy and objectives; develops and implements annual plan for service line growth to include community partnership opportunities. Collaborates with Director of Marketing and Sales to facilitate growth strategies through the Physician Representatives. Develops and maintains marketing collateral and education pieces for external and internal programs and creates and develops analytics to track business development activities.
  • Gathers health care market intelligence in primary market of facility and reports same to facility executives to assist in strategy development relative to market opportunities. Collaborates with Director of Marketing and Sales to obtain intelligence and implement strategies.
What qualifications you will need:
  • High School/GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in health administration, business or related field of study preferred.
  • Master's Degree in business administration or healthcare administration preferred.
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience with marketing, public relations (media, social media platforms, website management, development and design skills), strategic planning and business and growth development.
  • Three (3) years of job-specific experience in the healthcare industry and
  • Two (2) years of related management/leadership responsibility preferred.
