Methodist Rehabilitation Center is Hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant/PTA Near Jackson, MS
- Treats patients with dx of orthopedic, stroke, brain or spinal cord injuries
- Completes daily/weekly documentation
- Provides patient/family education, supervised treatment activities, discharge planning, quality improvement activities, customer relations
- Attends team conference
- Serves on interdisciplinary team
- Completes daily FIM scores
- The assistant has the authority to perform patient-care related activities and decision making authority to adjust treatment plans by consulting with a registered Physical Therapist
- Associate applied science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Must have current PTA license.
- One year of related clinical experience is preferred.
