Essential Functions Statement
- Repair, modify, and update aircraft systems.
- Assist lower level technicians in the maintenance of aircraft.
- Clean equipment and facilities; rig aircraft flight control surfaces.
- Operate aircraft systems; engine “run-up” and “trim engines”.
- Complete work in hanger and remote locations.
- May fill in for team lead in his absence.
- Troubleshoot without assistance.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management & Customers
- Commitment to company values.
Work Environment This job operates in a clerical, office setting that routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines; but, it may also operate from office to shop-floor locations, ramp & outdoors with potential adverse weather conditions and high noise levels .
Physical Demands This is a largely physical role; however, some physical abilities may be required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hours and work shift may change in accordance with department and business needs. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from department manager.
Facility Location - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma South - 7301 NW 50 th
Travel Travel requirements are: 20%
Required Education And ExperienceEducation: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 8 years of aircraft maintenance, 5 years on King Air aircraft
Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel; Maintenance Technical Publications
Required Certificates And LicensesAirframe and Powerplant Certificate under FAA Part 65
Work Authorization/Security Clearance Employee must be a US citizen and not hold dual citizenship with another country.
