About the company: Metric is partnered with a leading system integrator out of Minnesota. They operate in numerous industries such as Life Science, Food and Beverage, Semiconductors, Water/Wastewater, Oil and Gas as well as many more. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team and lead complex industrial automation projects.
About the role: The Senior Project Manager of Industrial Automation will be responsible for managing and overseeing the successful delivery of large-scale automation projects from inception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial automation systems, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities: Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to implementation and closeout. Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that automation systems meet client specifications and industry standards. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale automation projects on time and within budget.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, process control systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the industrial automation sector specifically process controls.
