Metric Property Management is Hiring a Community Property Manager Near Austin, TX

Metric Property Management is an Austin-based full-service property management company with over 20 years of industry experience. Metric Property Management is seeking a motivated Community Manager to join our team at Laurel Heights, located in Austin, Texas. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing profitability for property owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and financial management
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Develop and implement property marketing strategies to increase occupancy and maximize revenue
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with property owners, residents, and vendors
  • Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and rent collections
  • Conduct regular property inspections and implement necessary repairs and improvements
  • Manage resident relations and oversee the leasing process
  • Develop and execute resident retention strategies to increase resident satisfaction and renewals
  • Implement training and development programs for staff to ensure excellent customer service and employee growth

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in property management, including experience in a leadership role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations
  • Experience in budgeting and financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual proficiency preferred
