Job Description

Our Award Winning Client has earned numerous accolades and operates on a national level. We are seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to join their esteemed team.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring all equipment and instruments are in good working order.
• Assist in the preparation, transportation, positioning, and draping of patients for surgery.
• Pass instruments to physicians during surgery and continuously account for the number and location of instruments and supplies.
• Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.

Candidate Details

Our ideal candidate holds a Surgical Technologist certification in Kentucky, is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), and is a graduate of an accredited program in the field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure the operating suite is adequately prepared and all instruments are sterilized.
• Aid in patient positioning and draping before surgery.
• Track instruments and supplies throughout the surgical procedure.
• Handle and process specimens accurately for laboratory analysis.
