Full-time Onsite Position

(SIGNING BONUS: Up to $5,000)

OUR AWARD WINNING CLIENT is seeking a Tooling Technician for a full-time onsite position with paid relocation. Join a nationally recognized company that has won numerous awards for its excellence in manufacturing.

Shift:

• Swing shift: Alternates weekly between 7 am - 3 pm and 3 pm - 11 pm
• OR 3rd shift: 11 pm - 7 am

Responsibilities:

• Understand, follow, and assist in developing all Safety and Housekeeping procedures.
• Possess practical machining experience, including milling, lathe turning, precision grinding, and fine polishing.
• Use various metrology equipment and document results accurately.
• Demonstrate the ability to read Mold Prints, 3D Renderings, and Schematics.
• Apply working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including cylinders, motors, valve gate, and hot runner systems.
• Utilize practical Injection Molding experience to address cooling, venting, and steel condition issues.
• Maintain effective communication between processing, production, and maintenance groups.
• Assist in documenting mold setups and assembly procedures.
• Implement priorities regarding daily mold setups and repairs from IQMS and scheduler.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks as documented in the IQMS module.

Requirements/Experience:

• Minimum two years of machine shop/mold maintenance experience is required with a High School Degree or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of Electrical Circuits and Hydraulics.
• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of metrology (and related equipment).
• Possess working knowledge of Windows-based PC programs.
• Experience with MIG or TIG welding is a plus.
