Job Skills And Technical Skills
- Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability.
- Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
- Required: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or a BSN.
- Preferred: MSN or master's in a healthcare-related field.
- Required: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting as a manager or in a full-time charge nurse role.
- Required: Current RN license and certification as required by state regulations. AHA BLS certification.
- Provide leadership in nursing practice and patient care management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
- Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement in nursing.
