Our Award Winning Client seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team at a Freestanding Emergency Department. Under the supervision of FSED Leadership, the technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound and X-ray procedures (if Radiology Technologist certified) with a commitment to patient safety and quality imaging. In addition to imaging duties, responsibilities include conducting vital signs, EKGs, wound care, orthopedic splinting, and other assigned patient care activities. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, adherence to policies, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and X-ray procedures as required.
- Conduct patient care activities such as vital signs, EKGs, wound care, and orthopedic splinting.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Uphold the standards and Vision Statement of our Award Winning Client.
- Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
- Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Washington Radiologic Technologist certification preferred.
- Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in medical sonography preferred.
