The Metro Public Health Department (MPHD) of Nashville and Davidson County has multiple openings for Public Health nurses. We are looking for licensed RN’s to join our dedicated team of nursing staff who provide services to the public in the following divisions of MPHD:

· Our Occupational Health Clinic: The Office of the Civil Service Medical Examiner (CSME) conducts periodic and annual medical evaluations of current employees.

· Our CHANT Program: Community Health Access and Navigation in Tennessee. CHANT is a model of integrated care coordination provided through the local health department.

· Our Preventive Health Program: MPHD operates three public health care preventive centers to provide a variety of preventive health services to citizens of Davidson County.

In this position you will:

· Provide or assist in providing a variety of nursing services to the community, including to at-risk or high-risk populations or populations with limited access to care.

· Addresses and assists staff in population health community assessments and data collection Conduct educational dental programs.

· Participates in outbreak investigations and surveillance activities.

· conducts health education instruction and/or classes.

What we need from you:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee, or able to obtain TN licensure.

· Associate’s degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
• Valid class “D” driver’s license, use of personal vehicle, and maintenance of valid personal

· vehicle insurance as required by Tennessee Law.
