Social Media Coordinator
Location: Houston, Tx (Must be able to work in office 25 hrs per week)
Summary: MetroNational is seeking a creative and highly organized Social Media Coordinator to join our Experience team. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with our Marketing Managers across Digital, B2B, and D2C to manage our social media presence, create engaging content, and analyze campaign performance. You will play a crucial role in executing social media strategies across multiple platforms and supporting various marketing initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Post regularly on social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Assist in creating graphics using Canva and other design tools to accompany social media posts and enhance visual appeal.
- Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of content for the company's public-facing application.
- Manage content creation at the mall, including capturing photos and videos for social media posts.
- Support influencer marketing efforts by sourcing influencers, managing contracts, and creating campaign briefs.
- Coordinate the weekly newsletter, highlighting deals, campaign partnerships, and promotions.
- Serve as a creative project manager to ensure content is scheduled, organized, and ready for posting.
- Monitor social media accounts to respond directly to comments, messages, and questions from our audiences across social platforms.
- Monitor social media channels and analyze performance metrics to assist with creating monthly experience reports.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a retail or marketing environment.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in using Canva and other design tools to create visually appealing graphics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for content creation.
- Experience with video editing software and creating engaging short-form videos for social media platforms.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
