Are you interested in being a part of the wedding and party industry here on the Outer Banks? Metro Rental is looking to add to its year round crew. We service all of Currituck, down to Ocracoke. The work is physically demanding, labor intensive, long hours are involved, on the spot problem solving skills necessary, and requires a great driving record and valid drivers license. Driving is only 30% of the Job Responsibility. May be exposed to the general range of weather experienced in the area, with the exception of several hours in the warehouse loading or unloading and drive time. Some work areas may not be heated or air conditioned. Working in inclement weather, having reliable transportation, maintaining a great attendance record, and working weekends is required.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Load and unload equipment
• Prep equipment prior to loading
• Deliver and pick up equipment from beach rentals
• Set up and break down of event sites
• Tent installation
• Able to lift 60 - 100lbs
• Open and close the rental yard per company procedure.
• Place delivery and in store returned equipment in appropriate area for inspection
• Know specifics and applications of rental inventory
• Maintain and comply with company procedures and policies
• While driving company vehicle serve as a store representative, Carry drivers license at ALL times, observe all laws, Complete safety inspection and safety check on all vehicles, keep vehicles clean, notify manager of any accidents, scrapes or dents, or mechanical difficulties.
• Notify office of any schedule delays
• Return delivered and pick up ticket report to office prior to ending shift for inventory control
• Fill in for other positions when necessary, for smooth operation of the business
• Maintain an organized and clean stock room
• Clean rental inventory by maintaining dance floors, cleaning and sanitizing chairs, tables, and tent walls per company procedure.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and security in and outside of the store.
