Responsibilities of a Social Services Assistant:
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate, notify, and document room changes and roommate notifications.
- Assist in the completion of care plans and psychosocial assessments.
Qualifications for a Social Services Assistant:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a bachelor's degree in human services field including, but not limited to, sociology, gerontology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology is a PLUS!
- Must be familiar with Medical Terminology.
- Must be proficient in the use of personal computer (Windows, Internet, and Applications/Programs navigation).
