Metro is Hiring an Operations Administrator Near Omaha, NE

Metro connects people, places, and opportunities through quality transit services and is seeking a motivated, dynamic, and resourceful Operations Administrator. In this role, the Operations Administrator is responsible for a wide range of projects focusing on documenting, coordinating, and supporting organizational priorities for the Operations Department across a range of activities. Candidates should be passionate about Metro’s mission and helping the department continually improve, execute, and achieve the highest standards. The Operations Administrator should be a detail-oriented, self-starter who acts independently, directs one’s own work, and can handle diverse tasks quickly and accurately within a high-performance environment. This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Operations to ensure consistency, accuracy and various reports, documentation, processes and procedures.

Operations Administrator Qualifications:

  • 5 years of comparable experience
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn Metro’s Operating Policies, Operating Processes, Operating Procedures, Union Contract language, and Rule Book.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software suite
  • Understanding of Timekeeping and Payroll
  • Problem solving ability under constraints and duress
  • Understanding of Accident and Incident process and required documentation
  • Ability to provide detailed documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other staff members in a timely manner
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work effectively
  • Regular and predictable attendance and performance of essential job duties
  • Support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Metro
  • Strong attention to details
  • Good at organizing, prioritizing and follow through

Operations Administrator Essential Duties:

  • Analyzing payroll information and identifying potential issues
  • Perform routine documentation audits
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly/annual reporting and data analysis
  • Coordinate process workflow between dispatchers, field supervisors, and management
  • Verify payroll information weekly
  • Track and manage Operator absences by type
  • Verify approvals on absence types and track Operator attendance
  • Document attendance violations and provide to management
  • Track accident and incident documentation and verify all information is included
  • Provide first line of support for Operator payroll issues
  • Create documentation on procedures in keeping with best practice guides
  • Maintain process documentation at dispatch positions, making sure that each Dispatcher has the most up-to-date process documents.
  • When necessary, review video evidence for customer complaints, accidents, and incidents to verify validity and provide details to Operations Manager
  • Communicate effectively with all team and all staff members
  • Respond to email and voicemail in a timely manner, and provide updates on work being completed
  • Promotes Metro’s mission, vision, values, and initiatives to continually enhance organizational culture.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
