Position Overview:

The Vice President of Finance and Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, human resources functions, and support strategic planning initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in financial management and HR leadership within the healthcare and research sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the Institute’s goals and objectives.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

• Manage financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making.

• Supervise accounting, auditing, and investment activities.

• Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.

• Lead initiatives to secure funding, including grants, partnerships, and other financial opportunities.

Human Resources:

• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the Institute’s mission and goals.

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

• Manage employee relations, performance management, and professional development programs.

• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

• Oversee compensation and benefits programs.

• Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute on financials for strategic plans.

• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement across the organization.

• Provide leadership and guidance on organizational development and change management.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and HR leadership roles, preferably in healthcare or research sectors.

• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and HR best practices.

• Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
