Metron is seeking a Business Analyst who will oversee projects to ensure they stay within budget and are completed on time. As a Business Analyst, you will keep accurate records of expenditures and timelines, track regulatory compliance of each phase, and monitor any market changes that may affect the project. The selected individual shall demonstrate initiative by communicating across project teams and with corporate leadership to proactively track and report on project and corporate execution metrics.

Job Responsibilities 

• Integrate with project teams to adequately capture technical progress and report against the financial execution of the project.
• Assist management in establishing an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) capability within Metron.
• Maintain PowerBI for project reporting and report company metrics to all leadership levels from Project Leads to CEO within Metron.
• Work with the corporate Accounting team to establish and manage the program cost structure using Dynamics WBS and curate the data in PowerBI.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with the Contracts team to ensure a full understanding of the contract structure and requirements in order to establish and manage the contract reporting requirements for the projects assigned.

Required Qualifications 

• At least 3 years’ experience in project management or business analytics 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills 
• Experience using and managing an EVMS 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• US Citizenship required; the selected individual will be required to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, accounting, finance or related field 
• Experience using PowerBI for reporting and data visualization 
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics
