MetroNet is Hiring a Product Manager Near Evansville, IN

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and execute product strategy, roadmap, go-to-market, and measurements of success while generating revenue and margin growth
  • Manages operating expenses against established budgets
  • Conducts product research and monitors competitive landscape reporting on services offered, pricing, promotions and technology use trends
  • Provides functional leadership for new and existing product development, delivery, deployment, optimization, and end-of-life
  • Drive, develop and maintain numerous initiative deliverables to support the product, including functional and non-functional specifications
  • Identify and understand customer needs through research validation - third-party data, customer interviews, prototypes, and beta testing, to create or enhance a product which meets that need
  • Build strong partnerships through cross-functional collaboration, leadership and communication ensuring alignment and support with internal teams and external partners
  • Develop and maintain product playbook, including but not limited to, go-to-market strategy, messaging and plan, value propositions, pricing, promotions, positioning and business rules
  • Provide communication, messaging, and training materials associated with product initiatives to support internal customer facing teams – Sales, Customer Care, Tech Support and Retail Stores
  • Assist the Marketing team in the development of cost effective, impactful strategic communications within yearly operating budget
  • Plan daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description, and Manager’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output
  • Interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form simultaneously with abstract and concrete variables
  • Travel up to 25% depending on the needs of the business
  • All other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in Marketing or Business required or relevant related experience
  • Four years of product management, pricing, or related field with demonstrated experience in delivering sales, ARPU and revenue
  • Proven ability of establishing and maintaining a high level of credibility, respect, and confidentiality while influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Documented experience in lifecycle development and customer experience
  • Documented experience in strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks from multiple projects at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including listening and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and executive leadership
