Job Summary

Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and Homemaker (HMK) position to fill immediately. This individual is looking for a DSP (IHS with training) at 14 hours/week and HMK for 5 hours/week in the Maple Plain area. Client prefers Mon, Wed, and Fri; and a female staff. Both positions pay at $22/hour for total of 19 hours/week.

She'd like the DSP/HMK to help her with the following:

• Prepping, freezing, storing food per her gluten-free, organic based diet/lifestyle
• Transporting, and accompanying to errands, shopping, & appointments (typically Wed)
• Organizing her apartment
• Assisting with renewal paperwork
• Light cleaning, vacuuming, taking out the garbage, and help with laundry

Responsibilities and Duties

• Implementation/documentation of formal outcomes
• Transportation
• Assisting with independent living skills
• Cleaning
• Home organization

Requirements:

• English-speaker
• Calm demeanor
• Experience as a DSP
• Experience with documentation, and formal outcome plans
• Pass a background check

• MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage at this time.
