COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $135,728 - $192,646 / 1192 Hay Points
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Subways is seeking a dynamic, motivated leader to join the Car Equipment team as the Assistant Chief Mechanical Officer, Operations. Reporting directly to the Vice President and Chief Mechanical Officer, this position is responsible for directing and controlling all activitiesrelated to the management of the division’s maintenance and overhaul shops to meet operating requirements. The 24/7 position will direct theDivision’s maintenance/inspection/repair/overhaul on the fleets, providing safe, clean and reliable cars for daily passenger service.The ACMO will direct the development of the division’s operating budgets and monitor productivity. Directs all critical response activities of onsitepersonnel and equipment during emergencies and major service disruptions maximizing passenger safety and on-time performance whileminimizing service disruptions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in Transportation Management, Public Administration or a satisfactory equivalent
AND
Twelve (12) years of experience in a rapid transit or related industry, nine (9) of whichmust have been in a managerial capacity
OR
A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience
